Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
